PB&J Homeschool is a secular co-op where learning comes to life through hands on activities, real-world experiences, and meaningful connections. Each week, our kids dive into creative, engaging projects designed to spark curiosity and keep learners of all ages excited to show up.

But PB&J is more than just a co-op--it's a place to belong. From monthly field trips to fun meetups and shared experiences, we create space for friendships to grow, both for our kids and for our parents walking this journey together.

Come see what makes PB&J special...and why families keep coming back.

Here, we learn through hands on activity.

Kids are encouraged to be themselves, embrace their natural curiosity, and have fun while learning.

Our Co-Op Group

A large part of the Peanut Butter and Jelly homeschooling routine centers around our co-op group. Our co-op meets once per week and is meant to support your homeschool curriculum with the things most homeschooled kids miss out on (socialization, group activities, etc).

It is NOT a full schooling curriculum for your children and is meant to supplement what you’re already doing at home.

This is NOT a drop-off co-op, a parent/guardian must be present and will be assigned a classroom to teach or assist during each class session. Classes run each Thursday from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Using creative techniques led by other devoted PB&J parents like yourself, your child will join groups based on maturity and skill level and be led through various fun projects and challenges each week, building confidence and strong friendships as they go.
Actual classes change each semester, but all focus on providing high-quality learning opportunities in:

It’s a community for you, too!

Whether you’re brand new to homeschooling or a seasoned pro, you’ll find support and encouragement with our group of parents who are on the same journey as you are. In our co-op, parents must attend with their child(ren) each week and are encouraged to actively participate in the education and development of the kids in our group. It’s a team effort, and we rely on one another!

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Co-Op curriculum focuses on the following values:

Community

The co-op provides learning and friendship opportunities for both students and parents through weekly classes and field trips.

Teamwork

When completing activities students are encouraged to work together to accomplish tasks.  Parents also work together to build cirriculum and develop projects.

Enrichment

PB&J is a hands on learning environment designed to enrich the education of students.  We help by supplementing your existing homeschool curriculum.

Education

Our project-based curriculum is hands-on and engaging. It helps students build the skills and lessons they need to be successful.

Testimonials

PB&J has been such a wonderful experience for our family. My kids genuinely look forward to it every week, and I’ve loved the adult connection just as much. So much care and intention goes into each lesson, and my kids have learned meaningful life lessons along the way.

We joined early in our homeschooling journey, and it was desperately needed for me to be part of a community where I felt supported, not just academically, but emotionally too. I’ve never felt judged being a newbie, and I could bring my doubts, fears, curriculum questions, and ideas to bounce off others, always feeling heard and encouraged.

PB&J Homeschool Co-op has been one of the best parts of our homeschool journey.

Before PB&J, I thought homeschool co-ops were either chaotic free-for-alls or painfully stiff. PB&J somehow lives in the magical middle. It’s organized without being rigid, welcoming without being overwhelming, and fun for my kid and myself.

What I love most is the community. The kids are encouraged to be themselves, learn together, and build friendships that feel natural and unforced. The adults? Supportive and kind, with just the right amount of weird. There’s a shared understanding that we’re all doing our best, sometimes with coffee in hand and sometimes just surviving until lunch.

If you’re looking for a homeschool co-op that balances learning, connection, and a good sense of humor, PB&J is truly something special.

We enjoy this every week. Leadership gives so much of their energy and time to making this fun for our kids. It is a loving environment. We see examples each week of others encouraging our child. The organization and communication is top notch!

-The Vandiver Family

Peanut Butter & Jelly co-op has been a wonderful addition to our homeschool education. The diverse and engaging topics that the leadership team plans for each semester compliment what we dive into at home. The parents’ involvement along with engaging, hands on, and collaborative activities throughout each class makes this co-op unique and exciting for my son.
